About us, the aliens

I had long been planning to start a simple yet humorous comic strip, but was never being able to quite get to it. May be now I had made a go with the double postings on the opening day of Us, the Aliens. The characters were not preconceived (and preconcieved) i.e. they draw inspiration from nowhere and came to existence out of the blue. The are simple aliens trying to know and understand the earth and its inhabitants. The guy is called Malien and the girl, Femailen. They come across the  our facts and give us their interpretations. I try to keep things satirical with their non-standard view of stuff. Hope you like it.

Right now the images are simple Photoshop images (and there is no vector part in the graphics). But soon I will bring out vector shapes and may be wallpapers. Keep enjoying.

P.S.  Right now I am busy in system mutiny combat. My PC is revolting against my every attempts of recovering it. So I may not be regular with the comics strip.

In case, you don't remember, Mangal Pandey sparked the great revolt of 1857 upon the introduction of a new type of bullet cartridge used in the Enfield P-53 rifle by the Bengal Army . The cartridge was rumoured to having been greased with animal fat (primarily pig fat and cow fat, which animals are not consumed by Muslims and Hindus respectively, the former being abhorrent to Muslims and the latter a holy animal of the Hindus). The cartridges had to be bitten at one end prior to use. (adapted from wikipedia)
